Concert by World-Renowned Tabla Maestro

Shanti Mandir invites you to a Tabla solo concert by Pandit Anindo Chatterjee, world-renowned Tabla maestro. The concert will be followed by authentic Indian snacks and refreshment.

This concert is organized to give the local and the east coast community a unique opportunity to listen to live Indian classical music in a traditional setting by one of the most respected and renowned Tabla players of our time, Pandit Anindo Chatterjee.

Indian classical music is meditative and healing in nature as it has its roots in the ancient tradition of yoga. A rare luminary, Anindo has attained new heights in the art of Tabla playing. Trained from his early childhood, Anindo has developed a unique style expanding upon his vast knowledge of the tradition. Both technically and artistically, he is a milestone for future generations. He is equally regarded as a soloist and an accompanist and has shared the stage with the greatest musicians of India.

This summer we have organized three Benefit Concerts by world-renowned musicians, and this one is the first in the series. All profits from this concert will go to support Shanti Mandir. Donations and sponsors are welcome and appreciated.
